Ja gibt es. Windows runterfahren und den Rechner von einer Live-CD wie Ubuntu, Knoppix oder PartedMagic starten. Mit diesem Livesystem kann man dann den Ordner versuchen zu zippen und dann zu entfernen

Funktioniert fast genauso wie unter Windows. Einen guten Leitfaden hab ich in meiner Signatur. Der ist zwar zur Sicherung von Daten unter Ubuntu bestimmt, aber damit wirst du das sicher auch hinbekommen

Okay, ich brauche dazu wohl einen anderen Rechner... Werde das mal versuche und mich in ein paar tagen mit dem Ergebnis melden.

Nach unserer Löschaktion ist übrigens die Lautstärke-Grafik für das lauter und leiser schalten verschwunden. Und der Knopf zum Disc-Auswerfen geht nicht mehr. Muss CDs nun immer über den Software-Befehl öffnen. Weisst Du wieder ist die beiden Dinge wieder bekomme bzw. einstellen kann?

Guten Morgen Arne,

nein, nicht dass ich wüsste... Ich habe ein wenig gegoogelt. Ich denke, dass das Programm Quickset dafü zuständig ist. Werde versuchen über das Dell-Forum eine Lösung zu finden! :-)

Wegen des ominösen Ordner... Ich habe etwas herumexperimentiert und es geschafft im abgesichterten Modus Zugriff auf dem Ordner zu erhalten. Der Ordner beinhaltet fast 800.000 Dateien. Das Zippen hat 10,5 Stunden gedauert. Ich befürchte das Löschen wird ebenfalls nochmal dauern, ich mache das heute Abend.... Was soll ich denn mit der gezippten Datei, die immer noch sehr groß ist (23,5 GB), machen bzw. wo soll ich sie hinlegen? Werden sich die Virenscanner mit der gezippten Datei nicht fast genausolange befassen?

Ja kein Wunder dass sich die Scanner bei diesem Verzeichnis aufhängen!
Das Verzeichnis hätte man auch "auslagern" (kopieren und dann vom Ursprungsort löschen) können auf eine externe Platte oder so, aber nun gut, jetzt has es gezippt.

Die ZIP Datei sollte keine Probleme bereiten, solche Riesenarchive werden nicht komplett durchgescannt oder gar komplett vom Scannen ausgeschlossen

Der letzte Kontrollscan von SUPERAntiSpyware hat nur Cookies gezeigt, MBAM garnichts

Wegen Cookies und anderer Dinge im Web: Um die Pest von vornherein zu blocken (also TrackingCookies, Werbebanner etc.) müsstest du dir mal sowas wie MVPS Hosts File anschauen => Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File - sinnvollerweise solltest du alle 4 Wochen mal bei MVPS nachsehen, ob er eine neue Hosts Datei herausgebracht hat.

Ansonsten gibt es noch gute Cookiemanager, Erweiterungen für den Firefox zB wäre da CookieCuller http://filepony.de/download-cookie_culler/
Wenn du aber damit leben kannst, dich bei jeder Browsersession überall neu einzuloggen (zB Facebook, Ebay, GMX, oder auch Trojaner-Board) dann stell den Browser einfach so ein, dass einfach alles beim Beenden des Browser inkl. Cookies gelöscht wird.

Ich halte es so, dass ich zum "wilden Surfen" den Opera-Browser oder Chromium unter meinem Linux verwende. Mein Hauptbrowser (Firefox) speichert nur die Cookies von den Sites die ich auch will, alles andere lehne ich manuell ab (der FF fragt mich immer) - die anderen Browser nehmen alles an Cookies zwar an, aber spätestens beim nächsten Start von Opera oder Chromium sind keine Cookies mehr da.

Rechner jetzt wieder in Ordnung?
