UEFI bei Dir ist ebenfalls nicht aktuell, dabei gibt es darüber auch immer wieder Stabilitätsverbesserungen (AMD AGESA).

Okay, offensichtlich bin ich zu blöd das zu updaten. Ich nutze den Steam Driver booster, Windows Update und das Live Update von MSI um nach Treiber- und Betriebssystemupdats zu suchen. Muss ich das manuell nachschauen, oder gibt es ein Tool, das mir tatsächlich alle benötigten Updates anzeigt? Vielen Dank für den Link btw!

Nein, bitte keine Booster oder dergleichen nutzen, und erst recht nicht für UEFI-Aktualisierungen! Kann es gerade aus Zeitgründen für den Moment nicht ausführlicher erläutern.

Generell sollte es mal mit weniger Software probiert werden.
Es kann doch nicht sein, dass man ein Windows planlos zumüllt, um es danach noch mehr zuzumüllen, die das vermüllte wegräumen soll

Es war mir auch immer schon ein Rätsel, dass die Installer unter Windows alles rausbekommen aber beim Uninstall grandios scheitern und vieles einfach drinlassen u.a. Einträge in der Registry. Da ist jede Linux-Distro schon seit Jahren überlegen.

Welche Alternativen außer dem Windowsupdate und dem MSI LiveUpdate habe ich denn? Die haben ja auch nicht alle Treiber gefunden. Gar kein Stress, aber es würde mich sehr interessieren, warum das kontraproduktiv ist.

Genau das (nur nötige Software) habe ich bei meinem neuen Laptop auch gemacht. Da habe ich Win10 neu ohne Herstellersoftware aufgespielt. Von dem MSI Tools auf dem Tower hatte ich gedacht, die könnte/müsste ich gebrauchen, hat sich als falsch rausgestellt; konnte ich damals noch nicht einordnen was ich brauche und was nicht. Das mit den Antivirusprogrammen und dem Steam Booster weiß ich jetzt auch und alle andere Software benötige ich. Und die Software von der ich im letzten Kommentar sprach war kein Installer sondern ein einfaches ausführbares Programm. Ich bin für die Ratschläge wirklich dankbar, aber die Formulierung in dem Kommentar macht mir Magenschmerzen. Das finde ich schade, denn ich würde wirklich gerne lernen, wie ich mein System pflegen und aktuell kann, ohne mich für meine Unwissenheit in einigen Punkten minderbemittelt fühlen zu müssen. Das war vielleicht nicht die Intention, wollte das aber mal angesprochen haben.

Das ist tatsächlich unglücklich gelöst. Ich habe auf C: auch noch einige Ordner von der deinstallierten Software gefunden, die da ja auch nicht mehr sein sollten. Wenn das in der Registry sitzt, sollte ich das ganze System vielleicht wirklich einfach neu aufsetzen. Das per Hand aus der Registry zu löschen ist vergebene Liebesmüh, oder? Die Fehler mache ich auf jeden Fall nicht noch einmal. Linux sagt mir leider nicht zu, hatte ich auch schon ausprobiert.

Ok. Ich hab es auch nicht von heute auf Morgen geschafft, Windows durch Linux zu ersetzen. Aber es ist auch ein Willen nötig.

Jetzt, nach über 10 Jahren, bin ich einfach nur froh kein Windows mehr zu haben. Da hab ich im Beruf leider noch genug mit zu tun.

Tools für "Registrybereinigung" nutze ich seit Jahren nicht mehr. Kenne die Risiken inzwischen, ist für den Laien aber nicht bis schwierig auseinanderzuhalten was Sinn macht und was nicht Aber dann geh ich da jetzt auch nicht von Hand ran, danke für den Hinweis.

Der Treiber für dein Focusrite Scarlett Audiointerface scheint veraltet zu sein. Lade die neueste Version beim Hersteller herunter: https://customer.focusrite.com/en/support/downloads

Super, danke für den Hinweis! Aber wie kann ich die Treiber immer auf dem Laufenden halten, ohne alle 2 Wochen auf der Herstellerseite schauen zu müssen? Gibt es da Lösungen?

Nein, dass musst du schon selber im Blick haben und per Hand die Updates machen. So oft wird aber solch ein Treiber für Audiointerfaces auch nicht upgedatet.
Evtl. werden die mit der Zeit auch Windows10-intern zur Verfügung gestellt. Das kann aber dauern.

Zu Memtest: Ich habe 16 GB RAM und Memtest kann immer nur 3.5 MB gleichzeitig testen. Da müsste ich unglaublich viele Memtest gleichzeitig laufen lassen, oder verstehe ich das falsch? Hab das gerade 30 min laufen lassen und habe keine Probleme festgestellt. Da werde ich mich ransetzen, wenn ich wieder zurück bin.

Schade, dann leg ich mir da eine Liste an Links zu den Herstellerseiten meiner Software an, die ich alle halbe Jahr mal abklapper. Aber Danke für die schnelle Rückmeldung!
