Hallo Markus, Löschaktion war bisher erfolgreich. Hat ca. 2,5 Stunden gedauert, bis alle tmp-Files entfernt warden. Mir fiel noch auf, das sich das Datum der Dateien gestern verändert hat von bspw. 20:11 Uhr (als der Virustotal-Scan lief) auf ca. 22:05 Uhr, als Avira die Dateien gescannt hat. Hab neu gestartet, das Boot-Menü war wieder da, Windows-Start wieder schneller, Explorer-Zugriff wieder okay.

Eine Frage zu dem OTL-Fix: Erste Zeile bezüglich "wacom.dat", die hat mir Cosinus vor 3 Monaten schon mal verschoben. Die brauche ich aber, denn darin sind die Einstellungen für die korrekte Erkennung eines zugegebenermaßen, uralten Grafiktablets enthalten. Ohne die *.Dat geht's leider nimmer... Ist schon so alt, daß es noch über eine PS2-Schnittstelle läuft, aber funktioniert immer noch!

Wie muß ich nun den Eingabetext für OTL modifizieren, einfach die Eingabezeile mit wacom.dat rausnehmen? Muß das ":OTL" zu Beginn stehen bleiben?

Hi Markus, nein bis jetzt sind auch keine neuen aufgetaucht.
Hab' gestern um 20:53 Uhr geschrieben, daß ich alle gelöscht hab'.
Hat ca. 2,5 Stunden gedauert und es waren etwas über 100.600 tmp-Files.

öffne den adobe reader, bearbeiten, voreinstellungen, javascript, dort den haken raus, internet, ebenfalls alle haken raus.
so werden keine pdfs mehr automatisch geladen und es kann dir kein schadcode mehr auf diese weise untergeschoben werden.
unter allgemein, nur zertifizierte zusatzmodule verwenden anhaken.
unter update, auf instalieren stellen.
klicke übernehmen /ok
deinstaliere.

hab' alles deinstalliert, wie gewünscht.

Die ältere der Reader-Versionen läßt sich leider nicht deinstallieren, weil die dazugehörige "AcroRead.msi" nicht mehr existiert. Das Verzeichnis und alle Dateien sind aber noch da - soll ich es von Hand entfernen?

Adobe Acrobat 6 möchte ich ungern entfernen. Ist eine Vollversion, mit der man aus jeder Anwendung heraus über die Drucker-Schnittstelle *.pdf erzeugen kann. Außerdem kann ich damit mehrere gescannte Dokumente in eine Datei zusammenbinden. Benutze das häufiger und möchte nicht darauf verzichten.

Habe jetzt Deine vorgeschlagene Reader-Ersetzung noch nicht durchgeführt, wollte erst Deine Antwort abwarten, wegen der noch existierenden Version.

CCleaner hab ich einige Male ausgeführt, es wurden immer wieder Fehler gemeldet und habe ich dann bereinigt. Nun wird noch immer ein Fehler mit einer ungültigen Datei-Endung angezeigt, der sich aber nicht beheben läßt. Klicke auf Beheben, starte neu, und der Fehler taucht aber immer noch auf.

das problem ist halt, das der acrobat reader 6 ziemlich veraltet ist.
das bedeutet einmal sicherheitslücken, anderer seits kann es in zukunft auch probleme geben, da neuere pdfs nur auf neurere reader versionen ausgelegt sind. wenn du ihn zum drucken brauchst, muss es halt so sein, aber reader 10 sollte trotzdem instaliert werden und als standard festgelegt werden, so dass der reader 6 nur fürs drucken zum einsatz kommt.
das mit den endungen ist ok so, liegt an avira.

vielen Dank für Deine Antwort.

Wahrscheinlich habe ich mich mißverständlich ausgedrückt. Das ist keine Adobe Reader Version 6 sondern eine Vollversion Adobe Acrobat Standard 6, für die ich damals 199 DM (meine Güte, wie lange gibt's denn schon keine D-Mark mehr) bezahlt hab. Die funktioniert auch unabhängig von den jeweiligen Reader-Versionen, hat halt darüberhinaus viel mehr Funktionalitäten.

Pdf-Dokumente werden immer mit dem aktuell installierten Reader geöffnet, die Vollversion macht nur unter anderem, daß ich Dokumente zusammenbinden kann und aus jedem Programm heraus *.pdf erzeugen kann.

Werde nun Deiner weiteren Anleitung folgen und den neuesten Reader herunterladen.

Was mache ich mit der vorhandenen Reader-Version 9.4 irgendwas, die sich nicht mehr deinstallieren läßt?
