Dienst-Abschalt-Tools

Moin,

wer hat Erfahrung mit Tools zum zuverlässigen Abschalten von Diensten und kann mir hier eine Empfehlung geben (Plattform Win2k SP4, Internet: Firefox 1.5.0.7, email: Outlook Exp 5, will aber mal Thunderbird ausprobieren)?
