es handelt sich dabei um ein projekt auf basis der gentoo-livecd, die explizit das thema 'systemretten' - auch im windows-bereich - als ziel hat.

ein IMO sehr guter ansatz ist die anleitung, wie man selbst eine eigene rescue-cd mit den selben features wie systemrescuecd plus eigengewählten programmen basteln kann.

Das ist ja jetzt sogesehen auch nur eine LiveCD. Ist es da theoretisch möglich die CD auf eine extra Partition zu packen um von der dann mittels LILO zu booten?

und wieso sollte jemand, der etwas retten will, sich die arbeit antun, dieses rettungswerkzeug auf eine andere partition zu legen, um mit lilo zu booten? :confused:

jemand in einer notsituation ist froh, wenn er zu seinen daten kommt...

Mir geht es nur darum, dass ich manchmal nur eine kleine Tätigkeit am PC machen will und da nicht imer erst warten will, bis sich Windows bootet, weshalb ich son kleines schnuckeliges, schnllbootiges Linux suche, und wenn das dazu noch resuen kann, umso besser ;)

rescuen kannst grundsätzlich mit jeder distro, sofern du die dementsprechenden tools zusammenstellt hast.

für eine festplatteninstallation ist es systemresucecd primär nicht gedacht, aber du kannst es ja mit gentoo - da es ja auf diesem basiert - nachbauen... ;)
